This site at one time as been associated with the TNGenWeb Project. Many people have taken advantage of the USGenWeb and TNGenWeb areas to post their queries in search of their ancestors. These query pages have grown considerably since initially starting out in August 1996.

Queries submitted to this that were posted from July 1996 to August 1997 have been Archived Queries.

Queries submitted from August 1, 1997 through January 1999 can be viewed from the links below. These queries are set up by month on a separate page for ease of downloading. Many people have ancestors in Greene County and this results in many queries being submitted. Since the last of these queries are many years old, some e-mail addresses may or may not still exist. If a person who submitted a query has sent me a note with an updated e-mail address, I have changed them. Please do not send me mail that asks if I have a current address for a query submitter. 99% of the time I will not.

In February 1999, I went to the query system that was hosted by RootsWeb called GenConnect. This new query system really worked out well, for about a year and a half. About six months after Ancestry.com and RootsWeb merged the message boards of both entities were merged themselves, and I personally do not care for them. I do not maintain the message boards located on Ancestry.com/RootsWeb.com, I do not know who does.
