BALES, BEALS, PHILLIPS, OLIPHANT

Am looking for the parents of SOLOMON BEALS born in Tenn in 1804, who possibly married a HANNAH OLIPHANT in Greene Co., Aug. 1825, this marriage can be found in the courthouse in Greene Co., he was married to a PATIENCE PHILLIPS (no marriage found) but they and there children were in the 1850's Cen.
For the longest we were thinking that our SOLOMON BEALS was the son of DANIEL BEALS AND MARY SQUIBB who were members of the Newhope MM Quaker Church, but now it has been suggested that possibly there is a different set of parents. Please help us to solve our problems.
We do not know now for sure who our ggggrandparents are, and we are not sure who our gggrandmother was for sure. I have found records of the SOLOMON BEALS AND HANNAH OLIPHANT marraige, and I have found records of the WILLLIAM C. SHIELDS AND PATRA PHILLIPS marriage, this is a possible first marriage for our ggggrandmother PATIENCE but I have now found all of the above in the 1850 census of Greene Co.
Please help!

ROMANS, PETTY

(1). There was a Sara ROMANS, believed to be a widow, who operated a ferry boat on a river near Bulls Gap, Greene Co., TN during the Civil War. I would appreciate any information on this matter.
(2). There was a Durestes Lafayette PETTY who had a daughter named Amanda Catherine born in or near Bulls Gap. She was one of 11 children.
Help me please! I will share information. Jim
