  1. Frances Woods b. 1824, Chucky, Greene Co, TN. Married Joseph Dodd 14 Jan 1842
  2. Anne Woods b. 1826, Chucky, Greene Co, TN, d.1845.
  3. Sarah Woods b. 1828, Chucky, Greene Co, TN, d. 1844. Married Jacob C. Turnele 12 Mar 1843

  5. v Lydia Woods b. 1833, Chucky, Greene Co, TN. Married Thomas Dodd 17 May 1855

  7. Andrew Jackson b. Aug 1839. Married Emaline Marshall 30 Oct 1859
William married Mary Melone on 12 Sep 1844 in Greene Co. William and Mary had the following children:
  1. Anna Woods b. 1845, Chucky, Greene Co, TN. Married Thomas Malone 9 Aug 1860
  2. William Woods b. 1845, Chucky, Greene Co, TN.
  3. Margaret Woods b. 1848, Chucky, Greene Co, TN. Married George Staines 18 Apr 1865
  4. Stephen Woods b. 1853, Chucky, Greene Co, TN.
  5. Hydy Woods b. 1856, Chucky, Greene Co, TN.
Neither William nor Mary Woods are on the 1860 Greene County Fed. Census.

Please note that this William is *NOT* the son of Michael Marion Woods, Jr. of Greene Co., as many researchers have indicated in the past. Michael's William married a Rebecca Hall and they moved to Rhea County where he passed away in 1834, leaving his young wife and 2 daughters.

I descend from Andrew Jackson Woods above, so this negates the possibility of William being the son of Michael Marion Woods, Jr.

Any help with this brick wall would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
